Wed, 9th July: Recieved my messor in a test tube containing a queen and 5-6 workers with 2 dead workers :(. (My test tube also didnt have a water store behind the cotton wool.

The test tube was placed in my basin and i also added some seeds, honey-water, fressh water and a dead moth. Currently i havent seen them take any food apart from one worker who seems to be very active and taking lots of honey while the rest and huddled around the queen and are v. sluggish .

I will add some pictures when i get home from work later.

Wed 9th July: Currently 5-6 workers are tending to the queen inside the testube whilst strangely one worker seems to be collecting pieces of sand one at a time and moving them into the tube. (pics soon)
