OK then

So today i orderd a colony of M essor barbarus of the Edu Sci site as they were having a 20% off sale on everthing!!!
It should arrive on tuesday or wednesday as theyl send it out on monday.
I hope they come unharmed at my place :D

Anyway il post again when they arrive and will include some pics too of them. >.<

Hiya all, my ants arrived this morning !!!!! :grin:

First of all, the delivery... I orderd from edu sci and not antstore this time. And well all i can say is they dont give their 100% in packaging the ants, but all was good and all ants came alive.
One thing that really startled me was that they didnt add any water to the test tube behind the cotton wool :shock:
So i added a new nest tube with water

I used an old basin i bought from antstore as my arena where they live right now (pictures underneath)
I gave them a dead mosquito and some seeds and they all have accepted them. Oh and i also added some honey water.

Now then the numbers are, 1 Queen 9 workers 3-7 larvae 1-2 white naked pupae and 2 browny pupae !! but no eggs proly got eaten during transport >.<
