My new queen Messor barbarus came on mon/13/03/06 she was alone with no eggs, larva or workers.She has been put into a small container with a little soil in and now has built a chamber.So I hope eggs will be coming soon. :)

:D Great news the queen has laid a bunch of eggs so ill have larva soon.She has had some invert sugar and a small fly. :)

The queen has layed more eggs and seems to be doing very well and is lively :D

Not alot happened lately the queen has sill got eggs and has just added to the bunch with a few more eggs :)

The queen ate her eggs and has now layed anouther bunch she has also taken and ate a small fruit fly :) the eggs have still not hatched.

The queen is still fine she has taken some sugar water and eaten some flys the eggs as far as i know seem still to not have hatched i would of thought they would have hatched by now but there so small maybe i carnt see. :)

:grin: Im glad to say that there is a large bunch of larva so im glad. I hope that they all pupate. :D

Well im so exited it has been so good after wat seems like ages my colony is slowly up an runnin got 9 workers an 1 pupae an a big larva an some eggs an all seem fine :D :grin: :) 8)
