Hi

About a month ago I got Messor cf. wasmanni queen. She isn't perfect mum, so I'm thinking about give her some pupae from my old Messor barbarus.

I found somewhere that they were described as M. barbarus subspecies, so it should work, but I wanna ask for your opinions.

Ok, if you try only a few, you will see if it works.

Within the same Genus an addition like this often works. And in this instance I would say that it should work.
I would not add the big worker pupae. Those workers are tipsy at best and living in the wrong species nest they would cause more harm than good I think.
However the small workers should do well. I have never heard of any problems about this and would be surprised if there were any.
