I was wondering what you have found your messor ants like best in terms of seeds but also just wanted to point out to anyone struggling feeding their Messor arenarius or any other Messor species that you should try peanut butter (or any other nut butters) because my Messor arenarius love it, they all gather round gulping it up for hours; I mean if you think about it its like ready made ant bread because peanut butter is basically peanuts and peanut oil ground into a fine paste. :D

allergic to peanuts? :? have you ever encountered ants being allegic to nuts&seeds. The ants have been eating it for around 3 weeks now so I dont think their is any problem. :D
Maybe they will die by stroke or heart heart attack. You know it contains a lot saturated fatty acids ;).
Just kidding, I think they like it because it contains mainly sugar and fat.

No, I've never heard of ants allergic to peanuts, especially not the ones feeding on seeds...
You shouldn't worry about stroke or heart attack also. :)
...anyway, It's good that you experiment with different varieties of food.
At the moment I don't have any messor sp. colony. But I noticed that if you feed your ants abundantly, they will be picky about food (meaning they'll prefer some food over other), there are some exceptions.
