Ok i just got the temp down to 15c ill bring her out 5th jan hopefully have all the shed plastered and redone by then
whats the bottom temp they can survive i could put her in my shed thats hanging around 9c at moment and heat mat set to 16 if gets to cold - just concerned bout noise in my room with tv n pc and what not - shed needs go lower as my other northern ants in so will deff need to bring heat up with heat mat all time if i put her in
9c° is no problem. If it get to 0 you could heat it up till 10.
If you put her in hibernation now maybe 5th of January is a bit to soon to wake her up, it would be better if you keep her in until end of January.
i have a major worker :D
ok thanks ill move her into the shed tomorrow then and then the heatmat to 10c
no more heat mat for leaf insect eggs lol
having probs getting my northern ants to hibernate as the temps are just too high outside
Yes i have the same problem.
