I was told that keeping two L asius niger queens is impossible, and eventually after workers were born they would kill one queen....but explain this then

One of the queens is going to die soon. The colony is just to small to kill one of the queens.

I will just leave the queens alive and wait untill they kill one of them... then i will have the brood of the other one ... atleast my brood production rate is increased untill one of them dies. .. :)

Pleometrosis is often working for a while, but then falling into pieces, especially for Lasius cf. niger - some weeks later more and more queens will be killed!

I only have 2 queens in only 1 test tube the other queens are separated so its ok , in serbia if i really wanted that day that i picked them up i could pick up atleast 50 queens... no problem ;)

Hm, don't I understand?
There is no difference between 2, 3 or 4 queens, sometimes it will last for weeks, sometimes for month after the first workers are there, but it will end... :grin:
