what do Lasius flavus eat because I have those ants new, but I have no idea what they eat/drink.

Hello,

I feed my L.flavus the same as I would feed L.niger, Also you can introduce an aphid farm, Ill try and look for the method.

In Nature they are often in the soil and eat things in the soil, but that are mostly the same things as other Ants like Lasius niger (like ant kid said): shugar and insects.
You can feed them with honey-water and insects (if they are big, "open" them).
Give it in the Arena, and if this are your first ants, don't wonder that they don't need/eat so much!

- Camponotus vagus
- Messor barbarus
- Lasius niger
- Lasius flavus
- Myrmica rubra
- and I bought today an new Camponotus ligniperdus gyne
