Brawl: Experience with Lasius umbratus? (14. Jun 2009 20:45)

So, anyone got any experience with this ant species? I'm kind of interested in getting them some day, but I'd need some information really.

Mainly how can I get the colony started, with them being parasitic ants. Should I just grab some L. Niger workers and give them to the queen? Or, should I rather get L. Niger brood for her? And anything else, how much do they need air, is a basic test tube setup with cottoon enough? What kind of antfarm do they live, since they live in wood in the wild, or is just y-tong good enough? Size, how long it takes from an egg 'till worker etc.
