Here is a cute Formica subsericea family I woke up from hibernation recently. They're are living in an AntsCanada Pumice Stone Ant Nest, available at my store at http://www.AntsCanada.com . I really look forward to the growth of this family. They're visibly bigger in size than my Formica fusca ants, and just as active!

Here is the family feeding from a drop of honey to give them a boost of energy after a long three and a half months of hibernation.
