Thank you Jimmy,

I have send you a personal message with a question.

I'll be hearing from you.

Third day:

The Colony is still in the Y-tong block.
Only not many ants are outside the Y-tong block. Is this normal?
Occasionally an ant shows up and takes sand inside the Y-tong.
I don't know why because the nest is covert with a black sheet.

Today I also put some needles from the forrest in the basin for a nice look.

Since the colony is moved into the Y-tong there are 2 dead ants (probably already dead since shipment).
These dead ants are put outside the Y-tong in the basin.

Ow accedently i just looked into the farm now the sun is down there are more scavengers in the Basin.
They are drinking the honey :).

Well see ya next time.

4th day:

Today I wasn't at home al day.
Went to school 10:00 till 24:00.
So I didn't see the colony very long.
When I got home I only noticed that the honey was very popular that day because all was gone.

A whole medical cap of honey gone in one day. WOW!!

Took quick look in the nest en all was fine eggs was taken care of and queen was happy

Today at work looking at my pics decided to count the ants because on pic they don't move :D

And i counted approx. 30 ants inc. queen.

Yes it's normal that in small colonies the ants dont often come out of the nest. (more at night time than day time.)

Didnt get your PM ?

Hi there,

Another couple of days are past and the ants are doing fine.
They still eat a lot of the honey, but still not much of the protein jelly.

I tink it's time to try some other protein rich food.

I think I will try cat food tonight because I have that already.
This weekend I hope to buy some living insects.

I'll keep you posted!

Hey Guys,

My ants are still working hard.
a lot of sand is carried to the entrance of the nest by one worker.
They are still eating honey but a little less then first.
And since today i saw them eating some crushed cat food.

so that was it for today.

see ya later
