trueviper: Camponotus ligniperdus colony: journal (18. Jul 2015 11:24)

I've received a Camponotus ligniperdus queen with 5 workers and brood as ordered from Ants kalytta. The colony is healthy and in exceptional condition. This is the 2nd colony I've had from Ants kalytta and can't recommend this dealer enough, very, very good quality colonies.

Some of the workers appear to be quite large, could these be medians?

The test tube nest has been placed in a vivarium with a heat mat placed on the outside of the back wall, the temperature being roughly 23-24 degrees centigrade. I'm very happy with this colony and can't stop looking at it lol :D
