duane99: My new Camponotus Queen (2. Apr 2009 20:28)

My Camponotus Ligniperda Queen arrived today :) she is HUGE!
Unfortunetly she didnt have any eggs or larvae or anything with her.
She must of ate them on the journey.
I put some honey solution at the end of her test tube but she wont go to it (must be full from eating her eggs...).

Hopepfully she will be fine.

good luck :D

you could give her a small bug and see if she will take it. don't disturb her to much. Good luck.:)

Wow... You know it's late when you read 'bug' as 'hug' in the quoted sentance.

Also: Much luck with your new queen, Sir.

I've just received a Camp onotus ligniperda queen, she doesn't have any eggs or brood either. I'm sure they'll both be fine.
