Liebe Mitarbeiter,
hab da mal eine Frage reicht das Starter set S Combi für eine Kolonie Lasius Niger und wenn ja für wie lange?

Hi

Die Buchstaben (S, M, L, XL...) beziehen sich nicht auf die Größe bzw. Fläche des Formicariums und des Nestes, sondern ausschließlich auf den Plattenabstand in der Farm.

Also eine große Ameisenart braucht ( unabhängig ob es 5 Tiere oder 5.000 sind) einen großen Plattenabstand.

Glaube für L. niger ist "M" die richtige Wahl.

Die Maße des ganzen Formicariums musst du dann noch bestimmen (wie viel willst du ausgeben, wie viel Platz hast du zu Vergügung, wie lange soll die Kolonie ohne Erweiterung da drinn leben usw)

Hatte meine Lasius niger in einer S-Farm. M könnte schon etwas breit sein.

Eine M Farm denke ich wäre nicht zu breit, da ich bei meiner Lasius niger Kolonie auch eine M Farm benutze (benutzte) und man alle Gänge und Kammern sehr gut erkennen kann (konnte).
