Cube: Connect two ANTSTORE glass basins (27mm)? (30. Sep 2012 09:33)

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy two glass basins from the Antstore shop, but I'm wondering how I can easily connect the two basins directly onto eachother.
I don't want a space between them; Is that at all possible? If so, can you point me to the correct part I need for that?
If not, what parts should I get to connect the two basins?

(I find the explenations on the webshop a bit confusing...)

Here are the two basins I'm getting:
Glass basin 30x20x20 cm with 2x 27mms drilling - low
Glass basin 40x30x20 cm with 2x 27mms drilling - low

Thanks in advance for your insights!

How about http://antstore.net/shop/product_info.php/info/p852_basin-link-with-tubes-for-27mm-holes---3-4-.html

I would pull the connector off the pipe, cut the pipe short down and put the connector back in, it won't be no gap but will be fairly small.

The only ways to make the gap virtually nothing, which is assuming the holes are at a perfect height and line up on both basins.... Is to either put them together with silicone, pretty ugly/messy or get some rubber pipe with a 27mm diameter (or possible 28mm) and cut about a 1cm length and put that in both holes with both basins pushed tight together, although they may come apart easily if knocked etc

Is it possible to just use the one bulk head and push the thread through the two basins and tighten the nuts from either side of the basins ? There should be no gap then.
