Hello,
Well I decided to make my own ant farm as the ant world I got for xmas is not good.
What supplies do I need but are cheap so I can make a starter setup and then gradually buy a big setup.
Does a setup consist of a nest area and a general area for them to forage?
Also is there anything else I could you instead of Y-tong?
can I use cork to create the chambers and tunnels?

Yes you can.
But Ytong is much better.
Are you can use sand. But i also would prefer ytong and it is really cheap.
