Does it matter if ytong is wet when you carve?

ratgreen: (14. Aug 2008 22:30)

not really , it just makes it harder to blow away the dust while carving.

miszt: (15. Aug 2008 11:00)

yeah you will end up with sludge all over the place if its wet

ah k, thanks :)

ratgreen: my ytong/concrete waterfall (19. Aug 2008 22:32)

hehe i made this and im pretty proud of it so i thought i would upload it.

the sides of the ytong are wet and messy as my dad liked it and he was playing with it for a while, lol, but the path were the water goes down was smeared with clear sealant so the ytong doesnt absorb any of the water.

comment and tell me if u like it and how i can make it better.

Is that all ytong? or is that acup or something placed in the "volcanoey" shaped bit? have to say though, good work, that'd look pretty awesome in a good setup :D

ratgreen: (20. Aug 2008 21:45)

yer the volacoey bit is normal concrete, moulded around a cup/dish thing. i got new pic here with the mister in it too looks awsome.
