@ ShIeLa: thanks for the comments, and very nice islands you have there! very creative! When i next make a nest, ill do a step by step topic on how i created it! Its very easy and fun too do!

yes, "do it yourself" is nice. you can exactly create that what u want and you have the only one of it..

Sithmaster676: You can use a bowl of water and a wick. You fasten the wick at the edge of the glass of your formicarium. And you put the other end in the water. Make sure the wick at the glass are upper than water level.
You can use thread from a new mop as wick for example. And you have to change the wick time to time whan it did not lead the water well anymore.

its a very interesting system´that i have never seen before.

It is a well known system to use with y-tong. I'm surprised that you did not know it. ;) btw: your island looks very nice, good job. ;)

When i next make a nest, ill do a step by step topic on how i created it! Its very easy and fun too do!

Sure do, it is very handy for new people (new ant keepers) At the moment i do not have the time for it, if i find some time i shall place a few pictures of my farms. But they don't look much different than yours. ;)
