Nein, das ist nicht die Königin. Diese braunen Ringe haben alle. Durch das Blitzlicht erscheinen sie nur so deutlich. Ein Bild der Königin liefere ich nach (ist schon auf der HD), lade ich heute Abend hoch.

You have nice ants and very nice photos, but almost all of your species aren´t very cheap.. Do you also have enough exprience and you keep ants like interested keeper, which also have orientation into myrmecology, or you´re keeping them like terrarist, which have broad experience and knownledge to keep ants, but just with any potiential orienation to studying of the ants,....????
But also, I think you have really nice ants. I didn´t fall into love with Pachycondyla impressa, till I didn´t saw your photos of these ants! :grin:

mal eine Frage.. hast du diese ganzen Arten selbst oder leihst du sie dir nur aus zum Fotografieren und gibst sie dann wieder zurück??

Beautiful photos! I also keep the H. venator. They are fantastic. Not very "social", as Social Insects go...killing the queen and all that.
