This thread is for macro shots, or even Micro shots of ants, post your own, or your favorites that u've picked up during ur ant searches around the world and the web :D
This is for true macro shots however, not close ups, I want to see teeth! compound eyes and beardy ants :D

Very very nice guys.. Loving that pic Jimmy.. Wish mine would come out long enough for me to take a pic.. as soon as the light goes on they vanish lol

Jimmyve the detail on these pics are great! What camera do you use?! =D>
Thanks, i use a Sony Alpha Digital DSLR-A100. Very nice camera, only a bit expensive. You can take also great pictures with a cheaper one. ;)

To tell you the truth i have no idea about photgraphy but its something i would like to get into! \:D/ ! Been looking at a nikon camera for about £650, which looks decent!
Looking forward to sharing pictures of my ants with you all! They should be here tomorrow! Gonna have a quick peep at them and then they will go straight into the shed! Cant wait!! :D
