heya everyone, came across this short documentary on National Geographic.

i wish antstore sold Army ants !!, i guess they would be impossible to keep :D

a few institutions have driver ant colonys, not sure which ones tho

I think it is impossiblle to have Ecyton in formicarium ,because they have moving cycle ,and without it they cannot live.

It is able to have some species of Dorylus (african driver ants) ,or also Pheidologeton is cca Army ants ;)

Wow...these ants look brutal! Maybe when you connect some basins complete through your house ^^
But then is the problem with heat and moisture. No i think you really could not keep these ants.

But it would be interesting!

Yeah. because their mandibles are arcuate like the tooth from the mammoth :D
