Great new photos Jimmy!!!! Congrats!! Will you share with us some more details about that new lense?
Sure, ;)
its a "SIGMA 105mm F2.8 EX DG Macro" lens with a "Sony Alpha Digital DSLR-A100" camera.
A bit expensive but the pictures you can take with it. ;)
It is fact ,these photos are great! My new love in antworld is your Camponotus substitutus
;) They are very nice to, very nice colors.
They are not so well known but they are very nice to keep, they also have ratter big soldiers (majors).
The only difficulty is, they are exotic ants so you need to keep them warm a hole year. They don't have a hibernation period.
It is only good for all anters in Europe. It is very good in winter ,when Europe species have hibernation - you can looking on queen with ants ,eggs ,larvae, cocoons , when is -15 outside
;) That is true.
How is Camponotus substitutus queens/workers long Jimmy ???
