Timelapse Video of Tetramorium Colony

It's amazing what a 1 hour timelapse video reveals! Initially, I wanted to film how the Tetramorium colony relocates the brood in response to moisture change in the nest, but what I found were a whole bunch of other neat things like workers eclosing, adult workers helping new workers eclose (it seems they kind of eat something away like it's the final stage prior to the newly eclosed worker really moving around), workers testing out other areas of the nest for brood placement, worker ants snacking, and more.

Enjoy!
