Thought id share a few pics with you guys of my Crems. eating a few mice :) and having a drink of sugar water... Enjoy!
Hi,
nice pictures. Where are they from, do you know which species this could be?
Greetings, Phil
nope and nope lol.. had them off Jimmy so maybe Jimmy can tell us :)
All i know is that they are Crematogaster species and they come from the south of French.
Very nice pictures Steve. :)
Hello Steve
You have nice big colony of C. sordidula man :) Keep up good work. How are they about behaviour?
Mine colony of this spec. was absolutely flegmatic till I gave them some food, than they started maximal activity, moving, runing, etc...
Yes Steve, and why do you put there a small mouse? I´ve never gave a mouse to ants, they can´t break the skin and get some food from this animal, so why doing this?
How long do they need to eat the whole mouse?
Sorry, that question may seem stupid, but do all pictures show the same mouse, that was alive when you put it in?
Or are the pictures showing different mice you did put in when they were dead?
They do eat the mouse messorus... last time they had 4 mice.. and they are gone within 2 days.. all they leave is a small bit of skull behind..
They are very active.. all the time day and night.. but then there is a few thousand of them now.. recently they have been coming up all over the side of the tank.. il take a pic sometime to show you.. they are lovely ants :)
please take some pics of the finished mice. i would like to see the skull
Haha yeah i would like to see the mice either
