whats the to the right of the second to last photograph with th ytong yest, looks like there is a space under it with cotton wool ? or is it just a big white stone lol
Yes it is aquarist cotton - filter cotton
I am using it in terrariums , firstly i am gettin this inside , and then soil on it. Ants can´t make holes into , also it keep water under groud ..... you have to try it :D it is really good cotton , I am using it also in tubes with ants (normal cotton starts time-to time yellow , this one no)
That's great! I've been looking for something to fill out the gorund for making a less flat terrain in my basins.
And you say it works for soil too? I gotta get me some of this.
Yes I am using it to fill out the ground as you said. Also , it safe water in , do not mould , ants can´t make nest in , it is cheapier :D ....
I done it for more terariums like this , not only for ants .... cotton / 8-15mm / 1-2 mm
- you can see how it safe water on bottom of it all
Skippy, that is bloody awesome idea.. i have loads and loads of that stuff lying around from when i had a filter system on my fish tank.. brought it off ebay.. was well cheap.. your the Man!!!
