No Skippy he means if you have more ants you have more work feeding and cleaning like i said. But maybe i need to tell you ant dude that i also have more than 20 colonies. ;)

ooooh I understand :) , yes dude , it is hard to keep more colonies (20+) , and when are all exotic or specials , which need special feeding and etc.... very hard work ;)
I had one time about 100-140 queens/colonies ... very hard situation :lol:

sorry about my last post everyone,i know i caused a bit of a problem. i was ment to mean like jimmyve tell skippy about the trouble it is keeping more ants, something like that anyway cant remeber now lol :lol:
what is it like ownening about 20 colnies/queens? i would find it a bit of a handful 10 would probaly be my highest numeber but 20 or even 100-140 :shock:
100-140 colonies/queens at one time must be crazy i would never be able to cope with that amount and the amount of food they must have had to receive.

Depends on how big the colonies are. If you have 100 queens (single queens without workers) they sith in a tube and do nothing else. So you do not have much work with them.
But if you have 100 colonies with a few thousand ants in each colony that would be very difficult, you would probably not be able to go to work. ;)
I have about 4 big colonies (1000 workers ore more) 12 small colonies (100-500 workers) and 6 really small colonies (less than 100 workers) and you have a bit of work with them i must say. ;) 2 times a week i clean the out worlds (about 2 hours of work) some species i feed everyday, some 2-3 times a week (depends on the size of the colony). But now the biggest part of them is in hibernation so is easier now. ;)
