Thanks sith ,Camponotus nicobarensis will come to me next friday ,and it is ant maybe better to look ;) ,so I am very happy ... first photo next weekend :)
Thanks Skippy
i wish i had the time, space and experience to keep colonies like this as major workers are so incredible to look at and i would love to keep a colony with major or soldiers so at the moment i am quite jealous of you

Be patient. ;) I also started of with easier species, you need to. Than you have some experience and you can try out the harder ones. They take more time to carry and cost a bit more (they have no hibernation, the exotic ones i mean, some south European ants do and they also have majors)
Yes Sith ,dont worry ,be happy. You can try some Messor or Cataglyphis ,it is not hard to keep. Cataglyphis is like Camponotus. Or some exotic species ,who dont need hibernation like Polyrhachis. It is not cheap in Antstore and it is to keep like some Formica. Very easy to keep I think.

omg I wanted to watch it the 3rd time but its been deleted... :(
@ skippy and jimmyve: i will wait a few years before i attempt to keep any form of exotic species for now my lasius niger and formica fusca will have to keep me company:)
Sithmaster676
That is a good idea Sith. It is better to get more experience before you start up with exotic ants. ;)
