the amazing thing about these ants is that the frame they must climb over in order to get to the leaves they provide, is in fact a huge iron shaped ant..!! it looks so cool, it's like a 3ft long skelletol model, that the ants climb all over, very clever.
I sure will do my best, as i say i am off to Devon (for none UK members this place is to the south/west of the UK, about 180miles from me!) in a few weeks.

aha i quickly just found a link, though sadly no photo's, and to my suprise, they have obviosly expanded in numbers as they now have their very own ant room, yikes i really am gonna go back for sure..!!

enjoy

that sounds like a very big and coll colony of leaf cutters makes all the colonies i have seen seem really small.

No need to login. Unfortunately it works with Internet Explorer only.
By the way - at night you will see black screen, ants are sleeping :)

It's great to see the camera working - it has often been broken in the past.

Is it a breeding colony now then?

My Ant Cam isn't so advance, but you can see my ants live online at http://ants.org.uk
