yes , Prenolepis nitens ... I´ve found colony today , also with queen :D ... but she looks a bit confused by transfer btw forest-home .. but all workers are cleaning her , so I believe she will be alright :)

when they will be in test tube all , I can make som pictures ;) ... but now they are slowly moving :P
here is it ... sry for the low qualitty , but it is the best what is now able , I dont want get more light on her (then my camera making better photos) ... but you can see queen and some honey-pod workers , some normal workers
How did those ants get into europe from usa? If those ants are rare, why did you collect them?
I talking with myrmecologist and I researched , they are not from USA ... I only tought it. Why am I collect them? because we want to study this specie , and know more about theirs live and maybe discover something new informations ;) , myrmecology is about learning from new or rare ant species

Are you sure about the species Skippy ? It would surprise me if these where honey pot ants. (could be possible)
