Wow !! she has laid her third today :shock: , lol she lays on egg a day ... though she seems to lay in the night ... as I looked this morning to find a 3rd egg .

I wonder how long this patten will accur ?

Depends. She will lay a few eggs to make sure they some of them hatch.

If she layng eggs now ,it is good to feed them with insects (proteins) ,because she need it now ;) ,there is 6 workers ,so I think ,you´ll have circa 5-10 eggs :) ,in my experience .But like a wrote ,feeding with protein food

Thanks Skippy :) , She has just layed 1 more , I have 4 now, I am really happy because I have tryed everything to get here to lay and she wouldnt , now all of a sudden she is doing great . :D

I guess I wont know why she wasnt before

O dear I am in trouble .... I posted on the 29 Aug 2007 the day which my queen layed some eggs .... and to this day they still havent hatched :shock: , I dont know whats wrong , I am keeping them slightly above room temperature .
I think the eggs are dud's as I am told they take 10-14 days with this species.


Can any one help ?

I think thats probly more like 10-14weeks! afaik there are no ants that hatch in days :)

I dont think you understood what I was meaning miszt .... I was talking about eggs to larvae not the full cycle .
