honey on its own is a natural preservative but mixed either with tape water or rain water the chemicals in it causes a chemical reaction making it suitable for mold so if you mix your honey with water then like skippy said you should remove it after 2-3 days

Nice pic 4mykids. Would also be nice to see a pic of the entire farm/set up you've attached them to. Skippy is right though....poor thing...after raising her first brood, her gaster does indeed appear to have shruk considerably though of course that is reversible.
