Olly: Sience fiction prehistoric ants? (6. Feb 2010 13:10)

hey everybody

ime totally new ant the whole ant world and ime just starting up and i found this artical that says insects where alot bigger 300 million years ago because there was alot more oxigen in the air...
so i started thinking would it be somhow possible to breed ants in a closed tank with higher oxigen levels? (by using diving equipment)
its just an idea of mine but it could be dangerous if it worked i think :?
also very intressting or just mad...
please let me know what u think of this
and excuse my bad english

greetings Olly

hey,

i think it's not that easy to breed primeval ants xD
these changes implement million years of evolution. Ants are good as they are. Giant ants would capture world domination ^^

imagine if it WAS possible...
and besides they couldnt survive outside the air chaimber because of the lower Oxygen level we have right?
