hi

im a bit of a noob and i saw this site and wondered if u guys cold help me. its a silly question but the other day i picked up like a light brownish ant and actually saw my reflection!! the other ants ive seen arent like this. what could it be?species et :D c

well tbh most ants you can see your reflection in if u look close, lol, try and give us a better discription of what it looks like ,size, ect, rather than just brown, sorry but your description is noobish.

also what region you are from could help

well its like 5.8 mm.light brownsmall eyes.long legs big head(major), and like red stripes on its "ass". and im from Shrewsbury (Shropshire).

shrewsbury,i used to live there, anyways,big head? not sure, it could be lasius species, sounds like a lasius thats for sure, i doubt it is a major as no uk ants i have heard of have majors. Anyone got any ideas?

The description sounds like Incogniatus Inexistantes to me.
