Hi guys,

This weak i found some queens "plaing" aroung on the street... in Evora, Portugal.

I have used 3 keys, and they al give the same result, teramorium Sp. but its not quite similar and the size do not match...

here u have 2 pics, a queen, and a princess with a male.

That is one mean looking queen :O dont know what species is it but its awsome very lucky of you to find something like that :D

I think, it's Messor barbarus. ;)

thanks guys.... hope some more could confirmit... to be shure, but u mayth be corect, by the pics a search and by they reaction when i put some grains near them . . .

Yeah It look's like messor barbarus! I got 6 queens of those Captured around my place ^^

(Nice to see someone else from my country here =))
