Hi,

I found this ant trying to dig a hole in the sand in Tanzania (Afrika). She is aprox. 8-10mm and she is unable to climb plastic. Do you know what species is this ant?

Probably a Ponerinae, maybe Pachycondyla sp.. The picture is too bad to say more about her, I think.
