rudybert: Help to ID (17. Jun 2010 13:19)

Guys, I wonder what species these ants ....
I did a search but unfortunately as I am beginner and much noob, I could not find ...

Sorry for the quality of photos but my digital camera broke....

I found this in the window of my apartment ... was very lucky ....
Note: What you are seeing is not a pipe test (test tube) but a plastic hose transparent .... unfortunately not had time to buy test tubes, so I had to improvise ..... :D

I think this is a species Camponotus Castaneus , but i don't sure.....

As you can see, it takes approximately 12-13 mm (1.2 to 1.3 cm) ...

Have I got these in a flowerpot. Already well-developed despite being only four days in new home ... ehehehe
They measure 2-3 mm (0.2 to 0.3 cm) - (they are very small) and queens measuring 5-7 mm (0.5 to 0.7 cm) - (yes, this nest has two) ...

Yes probably some kind of Camponotus species, hard to tell which one.

Could confirm, the queen of the first photos is a Camponotus Castaneus .
But the ants of the other photos I have not yet discovered ... I accept suggestions.
