i know what the macro lense is but whats the 55mm reversed?

is that one of those filters you can put on the end to give a macro effect?

if you have another camera can you post a picture of your setup?

It is a Minolta F1,4 55mm (or 58mm?) lens. And I use it as a closeup lens in reversed position (and open aperture). It is equivalent with about a 8-10 diopter closeup lens. You can read from this technic from Mark Plonsky . He describe it with a compact camera but it works with DSLR-s also.

The first workers are always a little smaller. ;) But they look very nice. great species. and nice pictures to.
