Congratulation.
My queen was very jumpy yesterday and her eggs were scattered everywhere so I put her to a quiet place. I will check her only one time in a week.

My queen was shaking yesterday and she was so strange ,but today she is OK

JimmyVe: (16. Apr 2007 18:43)

Maybe she was a little sick. ;) If she is okay today there is nothing to worry about.

Skippy: (17. Apr 2007 07:42)

Thanks Jimmy

I think ,she is a little sick ,but maybe she will OK in future and she will make a good colony :D:D

My queen seemed nervous when other test tubes with ants was close by to her test tube. Do you have similar experience with other ants?

JimmyVe: (17. Apr 2007 16:08)

I keep most of my (young) queens next to each other (the tubes i mean). I keep them in the dark so the don't see (or smell) each other. Only when i take a peak they get nerves but that is with the light (and maybe a little because they are so close to gather.)

Same species or different species? In my case they are different species.
