So she had workers and these died, than it is better you give her some food. And hope she will have new brood soon.

hehe nice queen in Poland ;) ,,,, also think it is Myrmecinae , but VERY hard to say which specie or genus , there in rain forest are a lot of species and you need to wait on first workers , then it is more easier to discover which genus is it maybe , or specie. Body similar to Aphaenogaster :P ...

Hello phalops,

I think that it's a Myrmicaria ant. You can see that for the presence of six funicular segments in antennae, and for the petiolar morphology. I don't know the specie.

I´ve seen Myrmicaria and had some in tube , and it had different body ;) ... but could be ;) nobody know
