McK: Rhytidoponera metallica (McK) (26. Apr 2009 21:48)

EDIT: Please do not bother me with questions where I got them, I will not answer these questions.

I will use this blog to share my experiences with this species.

So far it has been really easy, keep them hot and not too moist.
The only thing that's worth mentioning is that their sting is really painful.

On the bottom left you can see the queen, one of her legs is slightly damaged, but she doesn't seem to have any problems moving around in the nest.

Great ants ! I hope they turn into a nice colony and that we can enjoy a lot of pictures from them. ;)
