I didn't think so. Unless you have the powers of resurrection.

SteveUK28: (19. Jan 2008 12:37)

So.. How many queens have u lost now???? Perhaps you might stick with some easy ants now untill you have plenty of experience. :pain:

JimmyVe: (19. Jan 2008 14:54)

Anyone here with experience with blandus know what they like to eat?

I have a colony for more than a year now, they like everything, i mean from insects. ;) Also honey ore sugar water. Try it out. ;)

@ all: I can not follow all the post but try to keep it friendly. I'm not sure how many queens where lost but if that is true, yes it may be better to get some experience before you try more difficult species. I know they are nice but it are animals. So don't risk there live just for you pleasure. Thanks.

Jimmyve: I told you over MSN Steve has been nothing but rude to me. He seems to hate me for mistakes I made when I was 13. Back then I didn't know what I was doing and I lost many of my colonies. I've learned a lot over the years and now I'm better at ant keeping. I'm not going to keep defending myself for things that happened nine years ago. I don't talk to him on MSN anymore because all he does it berate me. If he continues to be hostile on the forums I will go to the moderators. I won't be bullied for no reason.

how it possible too loose loads of colonies tho??? i have only lost 1 queen and 1 colony since keeping ants when first started i was 7 years old!!! and my queen died cos she had loads of mites in her test tube when i got her, so acshely i have only lost one really.....

SteveUK28: (19. Jan 2008 20:56)

Same here Alex.. Its called learning from your mistakes.. And Militant.. Im NOT bullying you... How can you bully some1 just giving advise.. all ive said is you should stick to easy colonies.. if u ask me thats good advise for any1 who has been havin problems..

[-o< This post should end here, it is not for us to judge on matters that are now gone and past, we all learn from our mistakes,
No one gets a queen with the sole intent of letting her or her colony die.

I'm sure I do not need to remind you, We are all here to help and support each other........ :discus01:

chin chin ! lets all be british and have jolly cup of tea !!

not everyone is perfect at keeping things, some people need more time than others....like me, it took me 2 queens to learn the hard way

but im getting alot better :)

and i wish Militant The BEST of antkeeping !!

Hooray

happy thoughts.....! :D

SteveUK28: (19. Jan 2008 21:18)

Militant.. if you took what i said the wrong way then i apologise.. I was.. and have just been saying to you that rather than going after a hard spec like leaf cutters perhaps you should keep some nice easy camp spec. Peace. :D
