While the colony went through some unfortunate circumstances some time after my last update. The colony managed to surprise me with an assuring number of brood for the end of the active season and into the next. The colony won't completely conform to the light no matter what I do but I don't have any issues with that other than the queen's high sensitivity. The population is in 200-300 range. As always some photos and a video will be uploaded soon.

The new A. fulva queen I captured recently is doing great. She has a small batch of 6-7 eggs. Colony video. http://www.youtube.com/user/alexuks?fea ... sfSaLG-EmE

Not much has happened recently with all my colonies. I placed them into my basement for hibernation a bit prematurely but they should be fine. Now the looong wait till spring.

I have a tube connected for drinking water and a simple but effective nest watering system for all the nests.
