hello,
does anyones have a ant appartment? and if so, can you share some photos or diagrames?
got mine and was wondering why the back is left open, to put islands, catus ,feedbox, plants, etc?
but one could so that even if there has been a door in the back, that would hae alllowed more space for the ants, to be freed inside?
i am interrested to see picture of the back specially or diagrams.
many thanks you for the picutures or ideas, i guess i can always make a door with acrylic sheets too, easy.

what do you mean "connetcing piece"? I'm not sure what it exactly is?

in our Forum.
The "connetcing piece" is only a hole for a 10 mm tube.

This is a real nice Formicarium

I thing it was a hard work to make the holes in the wood.





But how you can go in?
Is it not better if you put sand/ loam on the ground too?

I had tried the same for my Camponotus ligniperda, but i had big trouble with some mildew and so I changed back to the antfarm.
